Our volunteers have rescued and restored 30 old stationary steam engines , which once powered the cotton mills and woollen mills of the North of England.  Most will be running in steam on these special steaming days, from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  Admission is free , with free unlimited parking on Morrison's Supermarket Car Park site.  Young boys are fascinated seeing these great mechanical monsters in motion (and some girls too!)  Full disabled access, toilets and baby changing...

Free arts and crafts before each show, from 10am. Each show lasts approximately 45 minutes. Following on from the success of last year’s Great Adventures in Storyland, the Story Menders are back; stories are missing beginnings, ends, pages, maps and clues and we need your help to save the stories. We can’t wait to use our imaginations, make new friends and go on exciting adventures with you! Great Adventures in Storyland is the perfect Saturday activity for children aged 3 to 6 and their families.

See the land surrounding Weston Airfield’s original WW2 era control surrounded by a host of classic American vehicles. 2017’s show featured over 70 vehicles including 50s & 60s American Hot Rods, Lorry Cabs, Chevys, Pick Ups, Mustangs and much more… many of which were the UK’s only examples. Vehicles on display until 1pm with many staying later and helicopter flights beginning at 2pm.
