Race to Space!

Over the half term holiday our Mission Commanders will be taking you on a journey that will eventually land humans on the Moon. This race to space will begin with a powerful rocket, the Saturn IB – precursor to the iconic Saturn V, the tallest, heaviest, and most powerful rocket ever brought to operational status, and end with how humans lived in space.Discover what they ate, how they trained, who they were and the all important one (our most asked question from visitors) how they went to the toilet in space. The Apollo space programme remains one of the most inspirational points in our history, when we reached out beyond our blue dot and moved technology and humankind forward. As many countries and commercial organisations look at going back to the Moon, and beyond, learn about how we did it 50 years ago.BUY IN ADVANCE TO UPGRADE TO A FREE ANNUAL PASS* AND TO GUARANTEE ENTRY
