DESCRIPTION

What would it be like to have a new king just nine years old? Incredibly, that's what we had in Edward VI, the boy king - the youngest monarch this country ever had. And yet we know so little of his story. Why? Because he reigned for less than six years before disease snatched him away. He never stood a chance. But imagine what it would be like to be The Boy Kind... a child who appeared to possess unlimited power; a teenager who went through the tumult of puberty in a life-and-death struggle as he learned to wield that power. Just as he was getting the hang of it, he was snuffled out. His light did not burn long, but it burned white-hot. The Groundlings will let that light shine out in the first-ever dramatisation of the reign of The Boy King. He could have been one of the greatest.
