Party in the Park Concert Dates

Flamingo Land host a monthly Party in the Park concert from 6pm in main season, with celebrity chart-topping acts. The 4 dates for 2017 are:
Saturday 3rd June – act TBC
Saturday 1st July – act TBC
Saturday 29th July – headlined by Scouting for Girls
Saturday 19th August – act TBC  

Party in the Park is part of general admission to the park for that day for both day and staying guests, including those staying in the campsite. Alternatively, it is £10 for post 5pm admission for an hour of theme park and zoo then the concert - book now on the Flamingo Land website.

Flamingo Land Winter Entertainment in March 2017

Whilst the theme park area is closed until 1st April 2017, our amazing animal collection with keeper talks is open DAILY – for £7pp on weekdays.

There is then additional Winter entertainment during March weekends for a small additional cost - £10pp, 0-3’s are free and concessions available.

Weekdays - Award Winning Animal Collection
Flamingo Land Zoo is open from 10 am until 4 pm, allowing you to enjoy over 140 species of reptiles, mammals, fish and amphibians. This extends to Children’s Planet, Muddy Duck Farm and our aquarium. You also have access to our lemur and wallaby walkthrough enclosures, providing unrestricted views. Keep an eye out for the Rothschild giraffe calf that was born on 17th January this year.
Animal lovers of all ages can enjoy Keeper Talks and a Meet a Creature session each day, all included as part of general admission.
Muddy Duck Café provides a mouth-watering range of snacks and drinks, proudly serving Costa Coffee. For those visitors who enjoy a little retail therapy, there is plenty of opportunity for you to indulge in our shops.

Animal Experiences - Daily

With our Animal Encounters, you can enjoy a 20-30 minute session that will provide first-hand experience of giraffes, lemurs, meerkats or sea lions from just £20. To book, visit our website in advance, call 0800 40 888 40 or visit the retail Shops upon arrival (subject to availability, minimum age of 8. 8-12's to be accompanied by an adult. Pre-booking required).

Additional Weekend Entertainment
In addition to the weekday entertainment detailed above, a selection of small rides are also available, i.e.Muddy Duck Tractors, Jungle Carousel, Helitoys, Mischief Mansion and Wacky Races.
Sea Lion Shows and a Bird Show can be seen on Saturdays and Sundays too.
Selected rides within Dino-Stone Park are also open. Soar on Pterodactyl, spin on Twistosaurus and pedal on Cyclosaur. You can also search for bones in the Dino Dig sand!
The Pirates of Zanzibar outdoor live production show has resumed on the Galleon Ship, with acrobatics, fight routines, singing, dancing and an array of special effects!
For lunch, desserts or Afternoon Tea, The Mansion House & Tea Rooms opens its doors.
At the start of summer Flamingo Land launched the brand new attraction 'The Pirates of Zanzibar’, an amazing live performance show.  The show tells tales of our swashbuckling Tanzanian pirates’ adventures, and features acrobatic sword-fighting action and plenty of special effects.  This will interact around our guests in Plaza Square in the Metropolis area 3 times across the day - 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

The second phase of the leisure complex The Splash Zone has been completed for staying Resort guests, and includes a larger swimming pool with an infinity pool edge, counter-current swim jets and 2 indoor flume slides.  
There is also a newly renovated Gate House situated just before the park entrance for those that wish to stay in a secluded location in the picturesque village of Kirby Misperton.  This is our premium accommodation, and expands on our brick built Signature Collection.  We are also offering a Platinum Plus range of holiday homes from May 2016 onwards, and have expanded into a new field - Maple Grove - with our range of hire fleet and holiday homes to buy.  
Meet the new Rainbow Lorikeets from September, to be housed in a new purpose-built aviary, where guests can walk around them whilst feeding them from a nectar pot.  Flamingo Land will also be constructing an elevated platform for those that wish to take part in a new outdoor Giraffe Animal Encounter from September.  After hearing all about this endangered, spectacular animal, the VIP guests can feed browse to the Rothschild giraffes from the platform.
We are expecting the arrival of another female black rhino Chanua in September 2016.  She will join Samira and Olmoti, the mother and baby already in residence at the new Black Rhino Selous Reserve, with elevated viewing platform.  They came from Zurich in September 2015, and were the first rhinos in this new reserve.

Thrilling Theme Park
If you are looking for white knuckle thrills, there is a sensational collection of 8 extreme rides, including the latest roller coaster Hero that puts visitors in a superhero flying position before swooping them around a track.  There is also the Guinness World Record Breaking Mumbo Jumbo, with the steepest drop (2009).
In addition there is a great choice of junior and family rides. All the attractions in Dino-Stone Park have a dinosaur theme.  Soar 45 metres into the air on the Pterodactyl swing, spin on the family coaster Twistosaurus and pedal on Cyclosaur.  See animatronic dinosaurs, life-size Dino skeletons and search for dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig sand.

UK's Most Popular Zoo

Flamingo Land is one of the UK’s most visited Zoos (Source: Visit England 2014). With over 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds, including the amazing Penguin Coast, you can enjoy an amazing view of the animal kingdom.  A variety of Animal Feeding Times with Keeper Talks and a sea lion show are included within your admission.  See the progress of the two Rothschild giraffe calves that were born in 2015. For unrestricted views, meander through the Lemur and Wallaby Walkways.  

Short Breaks and Holidays

Flamingo Land is an ideal base for a short break or longer holiday, situated between York and the east coast.  The Flamingo Land Holiday Village is situated right next to the theme park, and offers luxury accommodation from holiday homes to premium lodges.  And for guests who want to be at the heart of the action, 4 newly refurbished self-catering cottages are now available.  Featuring 2 and 3 bedroom options (one with hot tub), you will find these Riverside Cottages conveniently located alongside Riverside One.

Alternatively, you can bring your own touring caravan, motorhome or tent, or buy your own holiday home. Staying guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and newly refurbished leisure facilities including a new gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and cafe.  There is also a 9 hole golf course. The Club is a premium entertainment venue for Holiday Village guests.

The Mansion House

The Mansion House & Tea Rooms was recently refurbished and allows guests to step back in time and enjoy traditional English refreshments, lovingly served in elegant surroundings. Evening fine dining is also available on selected dates for non-residents and resort guests and is also available to hire for parties and corporate events.

Flamingo Land have recently been granted a license for civil wedding ceremonies in the Mansion House, which is also situated adjacent to the local village church. A wedding could also incorporate animal interaction, such as a lemur experience or being married on the wooden decking located within the zoo.  Christenings and private parties are also welcome.
